What are 3 Ply Disposable Face Masks?
3 Ply Non-Woven Disposable Face Masks are quality non-woven face masks that are intended to cover the nose and mouth in order to minimise the incidence of cross-infection in clean or sensitive environments.
What can Disposable Face Masks be used for?
• To help protect from germs and infection
• Personal use to help prevent the spread of infection from yourself and for protection from other people’s germs
• To help prevent cross-infection
What is the difference between N95 and KN95 masks?
There is not much difference between the two face masks. Both mask types are rated to capture 95% of particles. The KN95 respirator mask is required to pass a fit test with <8% leakage – which other mask manufacturers do not require.
How to use?
1. Clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitiser before touching the mask
2. Remove a mask from the box and make sure there are no obvious tears or holes in either side of the mask
3. Hold the mask in your hand with the nose piece at your fingertips.
4. Press the mask firmly against your face with the nose piece on the bridge, stretch the ear loops around the ears.
5. Using both hands, mould the metal nose piece to the shape of your nose
6. Pull the bottom of the mask over your mouth and chin
Precautions
When the oxygen concentration is lower than 19.5% in an anoxic environment, this mask is not suitable for use
When the concentration of pollutants is so high that it could endanger life or health, this mask is not suitable for use
Do not use this mask to protect yourself from harmful gas or steam
If the mask is contaminated, damaged, or the respiratory resistance changes, this mask should be replaced
